Wizz-A-Mile

On Thursday we launched Wizz-A-Mile, our own take on the golden mile, with the hope to become even more active as a school. All children and staff completed their first mile and had so much fun whilst doing it! We would love our parents and carers to get involved so we are opening our school gates slightly earlier in the hope that our families will give it a go before the school day starts. 13 laps of the KS2 playground is 1 mile. Studies show that exercise decreases anxiety, reduces depression, increases self-esteem and improves concentration so children will also be taking part in Wizz-A-Mile throughout the school day.
